These arrangements provide a brand-new perspective of classic ballads, spirituals, airs, and folksongs like Scarborough Fair, Amazing Grace, Skip to My Lou, For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow, and the author’s personal favorite, Over the River and Through the Woods. In addition, five Bryce Russell originals are presented here for the first time. Piano fingerings were added where the intermediate player might need clarity. In some cases, metronome markings were intentionally omitted to provide the freedom to personalize each performance.
